here's the thing
Curves works in a circuit. You go around in a circle, either clockwise or counter clock-wise, depending on how they've set it up for the day. You do a machine then cardio on the little square thing. Every 30 seconds you move to the next thing. Every 30 seconds you CHANGE places. So you few people who -
- go in the opposite direction of the rest of the group
and/or
- spend 10 minutes on one cardio station
YOU ARE MESSING UP THE SYSTEM!Seriously. You go the wrong way? We will eventually run into you and you'll get all miffed if someone is on the machine you were going to use. However we're about 10 to 1. We win. We're following the animator's directions and the blue foot prints on the floor. We're doing it the way we are supposed to.When it's a small room, only 12 (14?) machines, AND it's at almost full capacity (as in there is a person in every space, both machine and workstation) it is not cool to swim upstream here.AND if you're going to hog one of the cardio stations to flail around for 10 minutes or more - MOVE OFF THE CIRCUIT! There is space for stretching and so on off to the side so MOVE OVER THERE. Do not suddenly block the traffic flow of the rest of us.This is NOT YOUR personal gym, ladies. This is a gym for many, many women and we like to play by the rules. So get a clue. Because I hate you. So do many of the other members. But I hate you more. Self-centered morons.
