That exciting pile o' books in the above photograph are all the ones that came to my house this week! The exciting thing about ordering books from The Book Depository is that they come all individually wrapped and seem to show up one at a time making my week of mail very exciting. The only day this week I did not receive a happy bookish parcel was Friday.Bought from Book Depository UK:

What didn't come from the Book Depository? Is the copy of Arrow by R.J. Anderson I pre-ordered and apparently shipped on December 24. All of these other books shipped December 29-31! I am slightly worried about Arrow now. :(Bought from AmazonUK via Jenny @ Wondrous Reads (THANK YOU SO MUCH!):

I like the UK editions of this series better than the ones I can get in store here. After loving the first book, I kept these two on my wishlist until I could order online again. Christmas came, and I could and yet... the Book Depository did not have them in stock! Argh! So I frantically emailed Jenny and asked her to keep an eye out for them and she sent them to me from Amazon UK. She's so sweet!Oh! I also got a completely empty envelope from Penguin Canada that was supposed to have XVI by Julia Karr in it. The poofy envelope came stamped with "Received without contents" in English and French all over it. I have emailed my rep to let her know I didn't get the book. So sad! I was looking forward to that one! :( The envelope was re-taped closed so maybe someone took the book out and resealed it? I don't know. But it was disappointing.This post isn't formatted the way I like it, I normally make all my images and post the summaries, but I seem to have gotten food poisoning while watching my friend's Jazz gig last night at a club and had to leave in the middle of his second set and I have been up all night sick as anything. I didn't even think I would make it through the night. How miserable! So I don't quite feel up to doing all the edits I normally do.
