Internetless in NYC

Well, hello! I am currently on my last day in NYC after spending a glorious week here to attend BEA, meet amazing blog friends and just wander around the city (all by myself! Eep!). I'm being allowed the honour of using one of my hotelmates' computers since it was $40 EACH for internet for the week and I am living on limited funds, yo. So while the roommies are out at Book Blogger Con (which I am not attending) I am usurping the computer to send family emails (as they have not heard from me all week! That's perhaps a blessing for them? haha) and to update my poor neglected blogs.I have been having a blast this week and I am both happy and sad to be leaving for home ridiculously early tomorrow morning. I miss my husband and dogs so much, but I am really liking it here - when there aren't as many people around.I only got one book read on the train on the way down - The Demon's Lexicon. And I'll write a real review when I get home, but I can say I did not like it anywhere near as much as I did the second book. In fact, had I read that one first I would not have even picked up the second book.I have packed all my books from BEA and don't know which ones I will unpack for the 10.5 hour train ride home. (the train ride here was supposed to be 11 hours, but it ended up being 13. I am curious as to how delayed I'll be going home. This particular route is ALWAYS delayed!)I should get dressed and ready to hit the town today. Not sure what my plans are exactly.I miss my blogs, but I do not miss Facebook. I think I might have kicked that addiction by being here and internetless. Go, me!
