Lousy book blogger, but feelin' festive!

Due to many boring and frustrating reasons, I haven't been reading or reviewing anything. I have more books on my reading pile and yet they sit there and long to be held and read as I try to deal with the rest of my life. Normally by now, my home is decked to the halls and my office space is twinkley and garlanded.Not this year. I did find this fun sort of theme, only it doesn't have anything bookish about it. I tried creating a tree out of books to add to the header image, but my paintshop pro skills are not what they used to be. Ah, well.Currently I have no books on tap. I am sort of reading the Rick Mercer Report the Paperback Book, but it's not something you can sit and read in one night (well, not I, anyhow). I am enjoying it, but there is only so much political ramblings I can deal with at one time, even if they are funny.Um, I also can't seem to get rid of that little thing in the sidebar that says "Text - random numbers". I tried looking in the files so that I could either fix it or get rid of it, but alas, I can't find it. So it's not like, a request to text message me or anything. I think it's a glitch in the theme. Heh.HOWEVER, this theme does fix my blogroll problems from the other theme (which I love to pieces) and now my blog links are categorized the way they should be! Woo.Meanwhile, I am still bookless and reviewless. I apologize. Please do not give up on my little book blog. I know it's not a very high traffic blog, but I did have some regular readers and I ask you for your patience. There's a lot of stupidity going on in my life right now (which if you care, you can read about here.)
