not enough time in the day to adore me

jinx - october 10, 2005 hello again! today was thanksgiving and so we went over to grandma and grandpa's place for turkey! i didn't get any turkey though, i was told it's not good for doggies. even growing ones! but that's ok, i found other things to chew on... i also got to play with my cousin sassy. she's much more fun than annie because she lets me play with her. we have a lot of fun on grandpa's lawn. as always, mummy took many photos of me and i am going to show them to you, because what's a long weekend without adorable photos of me, jinx!?

jinx and sassy sassy is a 10 year old standard schnauzer. i didn't notice on my other visits, because i was just a little boy, but sassy smells like a girl! i am starting to be very interested in girls. i'm not quite sure why, but they are awfully interesting.

jinx and sassy playing sassy is fun to play with. we run and jump all over the yard. it was unny today because the last time i was here sassy was bigger than me but this time.. hahaha! i was the big one! muahaha!
jinx and his stick i found this great stick today. i found a whole bunch of them! it seems that grandpa has a whole corner of his yard dedicated to growing huge sticks! i had to pull them out of the ground, so they were even fresh sticks! mummy and daddy and grandpa were all helping me play with the sticks by chasing me around the yard and yelling. it was SO fun! i had to step around all these green balls though in order to get my sticks. i don't know why grandpa has all those green balls and strings in the same place as the stick garden. they got in my way.

yummy! i like to eat the sticks. they taste good. especially the part that was in the dirt. yummy!!

the bigger the better apparently grandpa didn't want me to eat his sticks. something about needing them for his tomato garden. i don't know what those are, but i bet they aren't as exciting as the stick garden! i wonder if mummy will let me grow my own sticks next year? at least i hope she'll bring me to grandpa's so i can harvest my own again next year. that's what i was told happens at thanksgiving... you get to harvest things. i liked harvesting my sticks!

jinx and his grandpa grandpa had a long talk with me about my stick harvesting. i don't know why he was so negative about it. look at all the work i saved him. he's old so i thought i was doing him a big favour!

huh? don't i look like the helpful type? i don't know what everyone was so excited about. sheesh! see if i help them again!

chomp chompy chomp i decided to appease the humans though. i found a bone that sassy hid under the table and chewed on that instead.

so cute! never let it be said that i am not a helpful and agreeable doggie! the things i do for others would amaze you!

jinx - 7.5 months old all in all, i'd say it was a pretty fun thanksgiving, even if i didn't get any turkey! happy thanksgiving everybody!!
