R.I.P. III Update
We're about a month in to the RIP Challenge hosted by Carl V and I thought I might post a little update on my progress. This update was actually inspired by the fact that I had to return my library books on the 24th and wasn't able to renew one of them for the challenge - and I didn't like another enough to keep reading it.So this is the link to my original post. And now I shall let you know what I am no longer going to read...A Kiss of Shadows by Laurell K. Hamilton was a bust. It was so awful from the start I gave up after about 5 chapters. Way to jump into the sex right at the start. So unbelievable that I was rolling my eyes too much to see the words on the page. So, sorry, book, no go.The Lost Mind by Christopher Pike, though I was looking forward to trying out one of his books, since I was a devoted R.L. Stine fan when I was a kid and never cheated with Pike, I didn't get a chance to pick this one up. My lack of posting since I moved the site to my own server wasn't due to the move, but more because life got in the way and I had no time for reading or internetting. Sad, but true. I would have renewed it, but it had a hold on it when I brought it back the day it was due, so that one is a bust as well.Is it too late to change my titles? Because I now have Untamed by P.C. and Kristin Cast in my possession and will be reading that one very soon. And for another scary/gothic/suspense book, erm, I'll think of something. If I could actually FIND American Gods by Neil Gaiman in the boxes downstairs I will try that one (though my husband does not think I will like it at all). Hmm. I really only need one more to complete the FOUR requirement, right? So I am going to sneak in Untamed. Muahahah.
