Sorcery & Cecelia : Or the Enchanted Chocolate Potby Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline StervermerThis lovely book is one of two I received in the mail from a lovely woman in Germany with a wonderful name! Kat and I exchanged Christmas cards however she was also kind enough to send me some books as well! Yay! I love books! And I love getting books in the mail even when I think it's the parcel I was waiting for. :)So this is what I am reading now. The "chapters" are letters back and forth between Cecy and Kate. Kate is in London for her Season and Cecy has been left behind in Essex. Though not the most exciting book, I find I really love Cecy and her amusing ways and am intrigued by the Mystery Marquis and wonder what sort of magic might actually show up at some point (hence my not marking this down as Fantasy, because up to now it's been pretty unremarkable as fantasy!).If they ever make this into a movie I want to play Cecy. I'm even practicing my English accent just in case a casting director comes calling. ;)It's an easy and light read and I am enjoying it more than I thought I might. And the chocolate pot on the cover is purple, how can you go wrong? ;)Thanks, Kat!!
