Virtual Advent Tour 2009 - Ornament Collecting

This is the first year I have heard of the Virtual Advent Tour. When I found out about it I was interested immediately in participating. There are few things I love more than Christmas (Halloween and my birthday would be the only others) and I wanted so very much to share a  Christmas tradition with the world. I had to think hard about what to share though... should it be my tendency to change my blog themes with the season? Nah, that's not just Christmas-related, I do that for the seasons as well as holidays. I have so many little family traditions I didn't know what to choose. I did think briefly about writing about how this will be my first Christmas in 33 years without Grandparents to share it with (as they both just recently passed away in the last year) but that was way too depressing for me.So I decided I would talk about one of the things that gives me great pleasure every year - collecting my Hallmark Puppy Love ornaments. Yes, I am weird. I also took a huge leap for me and did a video about this. I'm a little worried about looking like a dork, but it's the holidays and I'm feeling festive and who cares if I'm a dork!
