Aside from the fact that this time of year is killer at work with deadlines and reports... my grandmother has just been readmitted to the hospital and is being moved to palliative care. She doesn't want any more tests or treatments. She's 91 and has said she's lived a long life. We don't know exactly what is going to happen or how long, but as long as she is made as comfortable as possible it's better for her.There are some other things going on with other people that are also pretty emotionally difficult and I'm trying my best to stay above water.Right now I just don't have the energy to keep up with The Internets, but I'm around. Lurking in the shadows if you will. I just can't seem to focus on any one thing for any period of time.Getting older is exhausting.
