Betrayed : A House of Night Novelby P.C. Cast & Kristin CastI am going to start off by saying... MARCH 2008?? I have to wait until MARCH 2008 for the next book? Do you understand how hard that is going to be? I mean it's bad enough I got through exactly half of this book and nothing had happened. Just when I was about to chalk this up to an Eclipse experience, things started moving - and fast! And then... gah! I have to wait until MARCH 2008! I am not amused.As I mentioned, I found this particular story to start off slowly. The "recap" of book one took way too long and I get so bored with all the little asides of explanation that at times seem inappropriate. But I still like the way the authors capture "young people speak". Heh. I really like the main character, Zoey Redbird and I started to like her group of friends a little more this time around.I did find the actual story rushed (well, heck, it only really started in the second half of the book!) and wished it could have been longer or a little better played out. However it did keep me reading all afternoon when I was supposed to be doing laundry. *cough* And now it's finished so it can be passed on to Monkey (along with Wicked Lovely).House of Night
