In My Mailbox #37 - a book a day keeps the doctor away

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren … and I end up adding a ton of books to my wish list every week.

All my IMM posts can be found here!

Monday, Tuesday, book-a-day!Wednesday, Thursday, book-a-dayFriday, book-a-day!Book-a-day! Book-a-day!I almost got a book-a-day!(My apologies to Happy Days for this massacre of its theme song.)I have to be honest, I didn't actually get a book on Wednesday, but Thursday I got TWO so it really does even out. ;)The breakdown:Monday - The Distant Hours by Kate Morton (Simon & Schuster Canada) - for reviewTuesday - Naked Heat by Richard Castle (HarperCollins Canada) - for reviewWednesday - nothing!Thursday - The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman & The Next Queen of Heaven (A Novel) by Gregory Maguire (HarperCollins Canada) - for reviewFriday - Class of '89: Sophomore by Linda A. Cooney - bought from BetterWorld Books, who by the way ROCK on many levels. My original purchase got lost in postal limbo and after a month of waiting they helped me out and sent me a new (used) book to replace it. I was so happy with their customer service that I am telling you all to look for your used book needs with them! They have free shipping in the US and it's a little under $4 for international orders. My husband thinks it's funny that I have Book Weeks and it's true! If I happen to get a book in the mail early in the week the rest of the week will have books arriving as well. And then I'll go for weeks without anything! And I don't mean review books I mean any and all books. The HarperCollins books were back orders from a request in the summer. I think I am at the end of my review book jackpot now. ;) Must catch up on my reading!!(PS - the books didn't really keep the doctor away as both my husband and I seem to have been hit by a super cold this weekend and are suffering together. True love, that!)
