Vampire Diaries - I am sure I am the last to know this BUT

The CW has picked up a pilot based on L J Smith's Vampire Diaries series!! I am SO excited about this. LJ Smith is one of my ultimate favourite authors and though I was never a huge Vampire Diaries fan (I was the Secret Circle fangrrl, yo!) I am so excited that this might be a CW series soon!If you've never read anything my L J Smith you can now courtesy of Harper Teen's website and their Browse Inside feature!
