Good Girls Ghouls Do

Good Girls Ghouls Doby Julie Kenner

As the vampire population at Waterloo High continues to grow, Beth Frasier realizes that she’s on the frontline of saving not only the school, but her hometown. And only one thing is for sure: She’s got to find the head vampire and kill him…quicklyHer only problem? With her classmates quickly turning over to the dark side, Beth doesn’t know who to trust or kill.

I read this book last night before bed. Another 240-some pages and it was fast and fun! I love the way Julie Kenner writes both her characters and the dialogue. In the previous book, Beth learns that she has a chance of becoming her normal human 16-year old self again if she can just kill her Master and as long as she doesn't feed from another human. The non-human feeding isn't all that difficult, but the killing thr Master? Not that easy since a vampire can't kill its own master, but it has to be responsible for the Master's death. (As in saying "Hey, best friend, can you please kill my Master for me?")It's finding the Master that's the problem. Oh, and also? She's got to find out why the vampires think she's the key to finding the mythical daywalking potion, which is why they vamped her in the first place. Being the school's smartest girl makes it easy to snag extra lab time to work on this potion thing, so that's one good thing. There is sadly nothing on the author's website that hints to another book only you know there HAS to be one because this one ends rather cliffhangerly. ARGH! I need another book! I NEED it! Both these books were so bloody awesome that I can't wait for more! Julie Kenner seems to write a slew of literature but I need her to STOP all that other rabble and write more Ghoul books!! Nowwww!! Do you hear me, Julie Kenner? More Ghoul! Less other stuff!*pants*Yes, they were that fun.The Ghoul series
