In My Mailbox #11
The Story Siren hosts this feature and I end up adding a ton of books to my wishlist every week.I've been lucky the last couple of weeks as I have managed to have a book show up in my mailbox each week. Not even once I have bought!I have Alea from Pop Culture Junkie to thank for this one. And I know I'm the only one who cares about these books, but hey - faeries on my piano! So because Alea was all kinds of awesome and did me a favour I now have the Senior book from the Class of '88 series and my collection is halfway complete! (THANK YOU!!)Now if only I can track down the Freshman and Sophomore books from Class of '88 and Class of '89 I would be a very Happy Cat!Just as a note - these books were (and still are) oddly out of character for me. I never really liked "real life" type books and I can't even explain why I liked these ones so much. Generally I opted for books with more of a mystery/fantasy/supernatural feel. I think since because I was the Class of '88 in elementary school I related to the name of the series? Who knows. And yes, I am rambling on to try and fit the photo in the post comfortably. Heh.Oh! And in a completely un-related to this post matter - I have to update my blogroll at some point. I have been following a bunch of new blogs and would like to link to you. I just haven't gotten to it yet, sorry. So please do not be all offended if you don't see your blog there. I have some tweaking to do on this blog.
